Ram Majji Seeks Election to Frisco City Council Place 5 in 2020 Election
FRISCO, TX, Oct. 4, 2019 — Long-time Frisco resident, Ram Majji has announced that he will seek election for Frisco City Council in place 5. Due to term limits, Place 5 will be an open seat in the 2020 election. Mr. Majji and his family have lived in Frisco for almost 20 years. After a decade of serving Frisco residents in numerous civic and political roles, Mr. Majji is taking the next step and seeking election to public office.

Mr. Majji is committed to maintaining a low effective tax rate, addressing transportation and traffic concerns, increasing opportunities for local jobs, maintaining excellent public safety services, and expanding education opportunities through partnerships. Smart technologies are becoming increasingly important as a way to provide quality services at lower costs to taxpayers. Mr. Majji plans to use his experience as an innovator and smart technology integrator to ensure that Frisco embraces smart solutions that fulfil our core needs without wasteful spending.
Ram Majji is an entrepreneur who has successfully launched and developed multiple businesses. He is a graduate of Frisco City Hall 101, a member of the 2018 Frisco Citizen Bond Committee, and a Neighborhood Watch Block Captain. In his desire to grow the local economy, Mr. Majji has been instrumental in attracting businesses relocations to Frisco. He currently works in Frisco as the Senior Vice-President of Global Alliances & Partnerships at a Frisco based global technology firm. Ram has two children enrolled in Frisco ISD.
